Two rather big events lately. The 2/5 gathering at Mrs Chua's house, and the second drama chalet! :D Due to the chronological order of the events, the 2/5 gathering shall come first!
In the morning I met with Minying and zhixin to go to Pasir Ris MRT together. Then we met with other people, and we went to mrs chua's house! Mrs Chua's house has a lot of pools. And I mean a lot. But anyway. We played pass the parcle [in reverse. Usually the person who has the parcle when the music stops gets a prize, but this time, the one who gets the parcle has to do a forefeit. But still, it was fun aha]. Very very messy. Sticky gel-stuff got onto the tennis court.
Lunch time! We had fried rice, fried bee hoon, curry, fishballs, hotdogs, soft-drinks, cookies, courtesy of Angie and Adeline [They were super nice! The cookies I mean. But Angie and Adeline are nice too ahah.], and...I think that's it. Heh. I think we played captain's ball in the tennis court after that. Yeah. I think.
We played it over the net, which was quite fun actually. Troublesome sometimes, but still fun. Cause you could watch what was happening on the other side of the court once you were done with buisness on your side :D The game ended. I think the other team won. But we didn't really bother keeping score, so I guess it doesn't matter.
Then...um...oh. We hung around, helping Brindha with her exceptionally large blister [hope you're feeling better ^^], then we went into the knee-deep pool. Okay fine, BABY POOL. TODDLER POOL. And we got splashed a lot by Tenghong and Lucas throwing the ball in the pool, creating pretty large splashes for a soccer ball. But it was fun, as usual :D
After that, some of us went to Pasir Ris park! We took a bus, then walked in, through some swampy/forest looking areas. But still paved, so safe nevertheless. We got to the bicycle rental place, and got one bike each, except for zhixin who walked. We cycled all over the park, to the beach first. The beach was pretty disgusting though. Dead fish was on the sand, and a lot of other debris. Euw.
After that, we cycled around more, and finally, went to the PLAYGROUND! YAY! xD I haven't gone to a playground for a LONG time, so please try and understand my enthusiasm ehe... Pasir Ris' playground is big... We played on the slides up a man-made hill, then we played on this werid spinning disk thing. It was slanted, so due to gravity and such, if you sat on it with other people [in balanced intervals], the thing would keep spinning and spinning and spinning and...you get the point.
Then everyone rushed back, and went for the long walk back to the chalet. When we finally got back, the BBQ was already started, and everyone stole a bit of food here and there to eat aha. The chefs kept cooking, and we kinda felt guilty, but they said they were enjoying it...so...okay then o.o
After the main BBQ was the super super nice part of MELTED MARSHMELLOWS. Words cannot describe how nice melted marshmallows are, on a stick, warm from the fire. Words also cannot describe how messy I got by the time I was finished with them. I'm sure Yujia and Zhixin have a pretty good idea though... ^^;;
After collecting our bags, cleaning up, and getting calls from parents interrupted by Zhixin and yujia ["CASSANDRA DON'T SMOKE!"] and minying ["hey baby" -.-], we went home. I took 88 with Yujia, Zhixin, Minying, SiYing, Jerrica, Solomone, and Arvind. I think. Sorry if I missed anyone's name out. Then...yeah. Just went home. End!
