today after o level drama, me, carmina and jerald went to opposite's playground to play marco polo. then after three + rounds of it, when i was getting ready to find them, then this pretty old Indian guy came up to me and started to say something which was incomprehensable at that point of time. so i looked at carmina and jerald blankly, and they came over. then that old guy moved towards [at a pretty slow pace really...] the metal sign board at the front of the playground. the one that had "playground rules" on them. he pointed towards the first line, which happened to be:
This playground was designed for the enjoyment of children of 4 to 12 years old
THE GUY WAS TRYING TO REINFORCE A STUPID AGE LIMIT. he was trying to imply that we were too old to be playing on this playground. pfft.
i heard the words "you're not 12", "not obeying the rules" and something along the lines of "please get off the playground equipment".
HE WAS TRYING TO CHASE US OUT OF THE PLAYGROUND. it wasnt HIS anyway -_-" but to keep the school name [which we probably already damaged LOL], we left. of course, we left with jerald and me saying a lot of what-the-hell-s.
facinating. the first time i ever saw someone actually telling someone else, to get off the playground. granted, the guy had a "valid reason", but HELLO, there are zillions and zillions of other people, some which are andersonians, who come to this playground everyday to sit and chat or play! you cant chase us all out. call the HDB, see what they do. pfft.
