i know that if i procrastinate, i will never actually come and post this, so i might as well do it now, right?
today was teacher's day! the school concert and aces day thing was fun, but this isnt what im here to post about. kind of ironic isnt it...its teacher's day, and what im here to post about isnt really related to teacher's day celebrations in school or something. hm. anyway.
after school was released and stuff, i went to take a bus to OLGC. alone. erica decided not to go...at the last minute -.- so i took 159, and bumped into praveena and aruna [sorry if i spelled your name wrong] and we all took 159 together :D much nicer than taking the bus alone hahah.
then i walked allllll the way into OLCG's campus [its literally EMBEDDED in landed housing estates...], and finally got to the school. all the students and the teachers were still having assembly and a concert and stuff, so me and geo [who i 'found' there XD] went up to the hall to see the teachers.
we some of the P4/5 students doing this skit, with the still-too-loud-mics that we used two or three years ago ahaha! some things never change :) then we said hi to almost all the teachers [or at least those we remember] and almost all of them remebered us! so amazing right? as a teacher, you're going to have so so so many batches of kids going in and out of the school, but our teachers [some who taught us in P2!! thats like SIX years ago!] still remembered us! that was really really nice :D
then we went to explore the school, and it turns out they have so many more nice facilities, like a prayer room, a MUCH nicer library, dance studio etc. then when we were walking around, we saw 杨老师 there! i have this feeling she's almost at her retirement age, but she's still looking strong and everything o.o still going around the school bringing the students to get their bag or something aha. still the same 杨老师 i guess :D we went to talk to her about school and stuff, and she told us that there was going to be a year end dinner thing in school! so we can come and have fun haha :DD
we went to look around the school some more, and we saw the garden of peace again. doesnt look half as nice as the old one though :/ this one looks awfully...concrete? ._<>

then we went to look at the rest of the school, which unfortunatly, is also very...uh...white. like a mental institution, and nothing like our past OLGC. how sad.
then we went back to the garden of peace to wait for Sandra and xinfeng. by the time they came, it was already 1+ actually.... and sandra sprained her ankle while playing netball, so she was using crutches. and i have to say, that she is the FASTEST person on crutches i have ever seen in my life. seriously fast. me and xinfeng went to drink water while sandra and geo went to the swing, and while we were at the right of the court, sandra was already 3/4 there. scary XD
so we went to play on the swing, one of the only parts of the new school i like, its a blue garden swing, the sort that's made of metal. the only problem is that its placed in a place that has a whole lot of sun, so the metal is hot...and when you sit there its hot as well... but its a small price to pay for fun right? :)

then at last, the security guards chased us out of the school grounds, cause according to them, all the teachers were leaving for lunch, and so we had to get out of there by 1.45pm. weird rules. but jien, connie and marie werent there yet, so we decided to meet them at J8 for lunch. due to Sandra's current physical condition, we decided to take a cab. we were going to give up hailing one, cause there were really really few cabs going past, and they were all busy. then just as sandra was saying that we should walk instead, a cab came! sandra has magical word powers ahaha :D
hahah 2-5! :D xf is in 2/5 too, just a different school. she takes drama too! :DD
then we finally got there and went to the food court where we found jien and connie! we went in, found a table large enough for seven, then went to eat. but marie didnt come yet. at last a lot of people ended up eating pepper lunch, one of my favourites hahah :D of course, at last, marie did come, then we acted like we didnt know her LOL.

then everyone realised it was sandra's birthday and so xf and connie "went to the toilet" [aka, go buy her present XD] and me, jien, marie and geo BOMBARDED sandra with jokes. all jokes. racist ones, lame ones, half-forgotten ones haha. at one time, sandra laughed so hard, she fell sideways onto the chair beside her hahahahah! then marie left to "the toilet" too. and we continued to tell sandra jokes.
after a LONG time, they finally came back. xf covered sandra's eyes and they gave her her present and card. no wonder they took so long hahah. they were doing the card. but everything turned out nice, cause sandra liked the present and stuff XD [prince of tennis puzzle and a poopy key chain] then we asked this nice lady at the other table to take a photo of us! :D

then everyone went to popular according to sandra's request, and me and jien found that we have a similar interest:

the kiddy sort with big letters, thick pages, flaps, fabric handles, squeeky bits, buttons, basket-material and stuff like that. we sat on the floor and grabbed all those kiddy books hahahaha!
we have a deprived childhood LOL. or maybe thats what everyone else who saw us were thinking hahahahaha!
after that, we went to get bubble tea! i got chocolate, cause thats what i always get from opposite ANDESS, but this time, this chocolate bubble tea was DISGUSTING. so very very very very disgusting. everyone [after trying] agreed ._. oh well. i still finished it anyway XD
then at last, everyone had to go home [it was 4+ already] and so jien and xf went to take the MRT, geo went to take the bus, me, connie, sandra and marie went to the interchange to take a bus. halfway through the walk to the queue for buses 53/54/56/58, we saw a 53 go past [the bus that marie was going to take] then sandra was like, "MARIE! 53!!!!" then marie ran all the way to the edge of the other side of the interchange, when we saw the 53 turn into the rest area instead ahahahahah!
then at last everyone went home :)
