its been PROVEN that most people are more tired these days, as comapred to in the past, say, before the june holidays. like today, during literature, after lit and those 5minutes before maths, at least TEN people in 2/5 were sleeping with their heads on the table! thats already 1/4 of the whole class! and after further inspection, as well as extra information from chengling, 9 out of 10 people say that they're MORE TIRED now a days!
god knows why though.

aaah. im scared. im worried about tomorrow....which i SHOULDNT even be worried about, cause the reshuffling wasnt supposed to happen...i think. ah well...i really hope that the entire current-exco can be retained. but whatever happens will be for the best right? i really really hope so.





and the three of us will stick together yeah? :D

this is my 85th post!
and also my last post for this blogskin, cause im changing it tomorrow or later on. finally mastered basic HTML coding mwahahaha XD
today was racial harmony day! almost the whole of 2/5 wore ethnic outfits! everyone looked so nice la hahah :D after assembly me and cheryl went to bake the brownie batter! it looked so good after being in the fridge....like chocolate fondue.....hahah. me and carmina licked abit...heh x) we preheated all the ovens then did the baking! the brownies looked SO good in the oven.... then we also saw the other ccas/classes doing their stuff....hadirah was so nice as to let me kope some of her marshmellows! :D thankyou thankyou thankyou!
then when the brownies were done [one was 3/4 burnt....but we flipped the burnt side over so they looked okay XD] we cut them up then set up our stall! we had like, 8+ trays of brownies, plus another 2 small plates of round-brownies. all for 80cents!! cheap right! haha. actually not that cheap...considering that our brownies were kinda...urm...thin....heh. not our fault though. the only baking trays we had were awfully shallow....hmm....
anyway! soon the lower sec people came! we sold about 1 and a half trays then. then they had to go up for their video screening in the hall....and the counsellors told us that this time, when it was the upper sec's turn, we had to stop selling stuff the moment the counsellors said it was time for the upper sec to go up. if not.... we would be fined $10. TEN DOLLARS OKAY. for selling stuff after an announcement. guo fen >_<
so there was like, half an hour or so of empty-time, where there were no customers at all, just the store-holders or whatever they're called. but in that time we managed to sell some brownies too hahaha. then the upper sec people came down! we sold ALOT of brownies in this time, cause the teachers came down as well.
then i went to do henna at 2/5's stall! xiuhui did mine and it looks really nice :D $1 for a hand. it looks PRETTY! then i went back to the brownies and after a while, cheryl accidentally smudged the center part ._. so i went back for touch ups.... then later cheryl went to do her hand too and i happened to smudge her's too XD IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. i didnt do it on purpose....
then it was talent time! i didnt really pay all that much attention to them, cause me and cheryl were trying to sell off our last 2 brownies and call it a day haha. but when we were clearing up i could hear some of the people singing...and it sounded...umm...uh...they were really brave to go up there to sing infront of all those people XP and there was this band too...they were LOUD o.o but still good ^^
then i went to eat opposite of the opposite with yujia, steph and jerrica. then had to go back for cca...technically speaking.
for the next post, i shall post pictures of today! no time now...coughing like mad x.x anyway, last but not least, on behalf of the ATCians who did this event,

slowly suffocating. dying. drowning. all in your presence.


yuck. still sick. and so many pills to take after every meal. i drank more water in those 5minutes than in 2hours -.- and the pills so small... i cant even tell if i swallowed the pill at all.

freezing cold on the outside, yet swelteringly hot inside...

the world is making me sick.





the world was so much simpler when we were young wasnt it. things were so clear cut and plain to see. no playing around with words no beating about the bush no deception. if you didnt like someone, you would just tell them. no need for acting nice for courtesy's sake, no need for you to lie your way through life. so simple, so clear cut....no one ever does that anymore. its all about making everything seem right...when it just isnt.
the world was so much simpler when there was nothing to hide.
i miss the simplicty.
if only, we could have lived out lives without taking a single wrong turn. if only, we could have lived in a kinder world, a world without fear. a world where nobody would get hurt, or hurt themselves. a world where only right things are being done. if only there was a shortcut, for us to reach out to... a kind, compassionate world we all long for.

to everyone/anyone who asked me how i am or showed concern,
thankyou! :)

its awful to have headaches + nausea + dizzyness all together at once. the only reason im actually able to yank myself away from the bed and to the laptop is because i just had my medicine...and the drowsyness effect probably wont get to me for a while. i hope.

i feel awfully guilty for missing so many classes...and cca x.x especially since the performance at Asian Civilisation Museum is coming soon...and im ASM and i havent done much x.x oh well...

blogthings' quizzes are addictive when you're sick, cause all their quizzes [with small exceptions] all dont require use of braincells. which is very very very good when you're having a headache.

{disclaimer: this post is very very very very long. so you either read it and dont complain, or dont read it at all. thankyou :) }

LAST WEEK WAS SO SUPER FUN! :DDDD
but now the marryatville people are gone...they left this morning. all the hosts and the teachers brought them to the airport and said goodbye...but for the days before that, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! :DDD

MONDAY{youth day+meeting day!} : DAY ONE!
everyone went to the arts house early in the morning~ the place was right next to the Singapore river and padang. and carmina didnt know what the padang was o.o anyway, the party was nice cause the room was...big? sofa-y? uhh....carpet-y...?? anyway. it was nice. and the food was...um...pretty good i guess. it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves, so i guess thats whats really counts. then after that all of the cast of both ATC and Marryatville went for rehersals, so somehow, me and baby afiqah went back to school, then went to bugis for SHOPPING :D we walked and walked and walked...and ate aha (: and asked each other random questions with equally random answers. but random is nice (:
then on our way back, we decided to walk the long way, instead of taking a bus, cause we had time. and we saw a really pretty butterfly!!



nice isnt it? :3 i rarely see butterflies simply perching on leaves for us to take photos of~ then me afiqah, praveena and hady ended up at the bus stop talking crap. and making praveena confess stuff ;D then the home stay started woohoo!!


TUESDAY{artshouse rehersal+more shopping!!} : DAY TWO!
this time, our partners came with us to class and stuff that we usually do. we had the Life@Anderson tour too!! the one that me and baby afiqah planned! in the end, [somehow], we ended up being tour guides too aha (: it was fun~ but tiring. very tiring. then this time we went to AMK hub's macdonalds. Mcflurries are sweet. and sweet is gooooood :D then we went back to school...but it was too early. again. we should really learn how to manage our time efficiently....=x we went to the tables in the middle of the school...where the koi pond is there. and on one of the benches, it said "drama sucks!" and "yeah!!"so me and afiqah took water and tried to rub them off hahaha :D then a small puddle ended up as a BIG puddle~

WEDNESDAY{performance+looong detour} : DAY THREE!
we missed ALOT of class on this day. got out of all classes at 12.10pm yay! :E then we went to the library to read magazines [seventeen and 8days LOL!] and talk crap ahaha. then i "adopted" ulfah as my big sister :D she's niceeeeee x3 except for the constant tickling thing -.- then we had lunch, and went to the arts house again! we got the flyers ready, then me and afiqah and praveena and ulfah and hadirah and haritha went for a walk to the esplanade / marina square :) we went past the singapore river! afiqah pointed to a staircase and said "ooh! lets go down there" then we checked and realised that it lead down to the river itself LOL! so we kept walking and then we realised that praveena was missing o.o so we searched for her and finally found her. she said that she actually thought we went down the staircase for real!! ahahahahahah XD praveena blur :D
then we went to the esplanade park, where me and praveena saw the padang.

oh shit.

then we went through esplanade park, finally reaching the esplanade. FINALLY. then we went in, and me and ulfah went to buy cookies aha XD then the real crap started. we couldnt find afiqah and praveena and hadirah and haritha.

so we called them, and afiqah hissed into the phone "we're in the library!!". so, we went to the library. duh. the most obvious thing to be doing. then we scavenged through the whole library, and couldnt find any uniform-clad people. so we got out of the library and called them again. they were going out of the esplanade, going to marina square

so we rushed all the way down and finally found them. they didnt look too surprised...

it was because they...

PLANNED THE WHOLE FREAKING THING.

rah. anyway, then haritha went missing, this time for REAL. so we went around, then finally found her. and everyone went to marina square, for macdonalds ^^ mcflurries are still awesome ahaha :)

then we went back for the performance, and got changed into the all-black-for-FOH-attire. i have no idea why front of house people are supposed to be in black...seems kinda emo in my opinion XD anyway, we still got into the black stuff, put on makeup...[i just did lipgloss. eyeliner and stuff is yucky and hard to me hehe] then we had dinner and started the stuff, like ushering all the guests into the correct hallway, registery, and brochures.

and just to clear things up, i WASNT giving out illeagle-brouchures like what soma said. it just so happened that someone came downstairs with them and handed them to me so i gave them out OKAY. it wasnt my fault -.- and they werent illeagle.

the performance itself was really really good though ^^ especially the anderson part. sakinah and carmina were the legendary beauties of the village...ahahahahahah :D

THURSDAY{vivocity+dimsumdollies} : DAY FOUR!
this time, we had classroom immersion! then we had our farewell lunch which was sad ): we had the lunch in the library, and the whole of ATC+Marryatville was squished in there.

then we went on the bus to vivo city woohoo!! :D bryan got everyone abit...uh...mentally disturbed...during the ride there =x

and we finally reached vivo! most of the people went to watch transformers, which left me, afiqah, sakinah and praveena. then carmina said she could come...so...uh she came o.o and the four of us went shopping! our marryatville partners abandoned us to go watch transformers / go shopping with other people / do stuff which is still unknown to this day and time. we went around vivo to get presents for the marryatvillians. afiqah bought pink bangles and neclaces for tiff o.o pink o.o scaaaaaaaaryyyyyyy o.o" then sakinah bought a watch for mo. me and carmina chipped in for a red rose for tiff. and i bought another red rose for bec x3 style

the reason the pictures are of carmina is because she was one of the only people willing to stand still for me to take the pictures hehe.

then we went to the anime shop next to the pet shop in vivo. but they still didnt have any stock of hani sempai's bunny so i came out empty handed =/ then everyone went to the petshop!
this time we saw golden retrievers :D

me and carmina went out of the petshop to the front of the store, which was island-themed, and there was a wooden boat so we sat in it and pretended to be rowing a boat XD


of course, that was before we got caught by the security lady x)


then we went down the loong escalators,


and to burger king! each of us had a $5 voucher...but each of the student meals were $3+...and carmina didnt have a meal. so we pooled all the money together and at last got 5 meals with the vouchers, plus another 5cents


aha. so technically, the 5 meals cost us 5 cents, which meant 1 meal = 1cent LOL XD
everyone was abit high during lunch, so we played crosswords on the paper of the tray. with chili sauce XD the question was "what makes people come to burger king?" we found one answer on the paper that said "corn dust" hahahahahha :D


messy right? XD

then we saw a group of primary / kindergarten / nursery kids walking past on a field trip. then one of them saw the playground outside



and was like, "OOH! are we going to take a bath??" LOL XD

after vivo city, everyone went to esplanade. another long bus trip.
this time, Jerald stared at everyone throughout the whole trip -.-


we got to the esplanade early, so we went ourside, to the edge of the singapore river, to take photos!





the NDP people were having a rehersal then, so those floting-ball thingies were probably for the parade. they looked pretty ahah (:



we had to gather together to get our tickets...and we found some -cough- suspicious baggage lying around. i wonder who's it is....:p


we had stall seats this time! they were on the side of the ground floor, so they were really good cause we could see everything ^^ the show itself was really good too. i liked the disco ball thing aha(:

FRIDAY {farewell + sick D:} : DAY FIVE/LAST DAY!!

we had to wake up BEFORE the crack of dawn, and go to school at 5.30am LATEST.

read: LATEST. which means we gotta get there EARLIER than 5.30am.

good grief.

it was so freaking early that everyone was fainting all over the sidewalks

but it really was 5.30am in the morning. who can blame us? XD

so everyone went onto the bus all the way to changi airport. at approximatly 5.30am. who planned this schedule -.- anyway. we got there and all the marryatvillians checked in

then we had to send them off D:

which was sad...cause they were going to penang without us ): but i still hope they're having fun haha (:

after that, everyone went to macdonalds for breakfast/cramming of homework.
